Maija has worked with BodyByrne for 8 years having learned coaching directly from Paul Byrne... but she has a style all her own.

Nikki has been involved in sport since she was 5 years old, when her parents brought her down to the swimming pool to learn to swim. Since that day she fell in love with it and continued swimming for 13 years before she became a national champion in 2003.
In the meantime, while she was busy with regular swimming sessions she wanted to learn how to protect herself and started to attend MMA classes which involved Boxing, Karate, Muay Thai, Taekwondo and Jiu Jitsu.
Nikki had to stop her swimming career and MMA at the age of 16. Suddenly she started to gain a serious amount of weight and found it very hard to lose it as she did not have the right information on how to do it. She started to read a lot of books, magazines, followed social media to get the best tips in nutrition and training, however she was struggling to get back into shape. That's when she decided to become a personal trainer, to help herself, people like her and those who wanted to change their lifestyle.
Nikki is qualified Personal Trainer, Group Instructor, TRX Trainer, Pilates Instructor, Spinning Instructor, Cross fit and Weightlifting Coach.
"I am listening to my clients, we set their goals and try reach them in the healthiest way possible. Their wins are my wins too. "
